CLASSES

“The yoga pose is not the goal. Becoming flexible is not the goal. Standing on your hands is not the goal. The goal is serenity. Balance. Truly finding peace in your own skin.”

Rachel Brathen

MONDAY

5:30-6:30pm: Fluid Flow with Kari*

Kari’s Fluid Flow class is geared towards those who have prior yoga experience. Based on vinyasa yoga, Kari’s classes focus on linking breath and movement in order to align the body and mind. These classes will include longer flows, fun sequencing, and often more complex poses and variations. No two classes will ever be the same!

7:00-8:00pm: Let’s Get Moving with Ashtanga Yoga

This class builds strength and stamina and increases flexibility and balance. Enjoy 60 minutes of
yoga with Karen. This is a modified primary series suitable for students who have some
experience, those who want to move to the next level, as well as beginners. A modified primary
series of Ashtanga Yoga rivals a work out at the gym, but leaves you feeling relaxed and
energetic. The series begins with Sun Salutations as a warm up, working through full body
stretches, and ends with Shavasana. This is your opportunity to prioritize yourself and work
towards a new level of fitness in an accepting, fun environment. Let’s do this TOGETHER!

TUESDAY

12:00-1:00pm Shine! Afternoon Yoga Flow with Angie

Rise with the afternoon sun and move through steady, mindful sun salutations and deep stretching. Breathe and let go, make room to allow your inner light to SHINE! Let your love light shine… be centered, be bright, be hopeful.

5:30-6:30pm: Slow Flow with Kari Ann

Join me as we slow down with this gentle feel-good flow! We will focus on our breathing as we aim to relax the nervous system. Moving mindfully through a gentle practice to help build strength, increase flexibility and bring balance to the mind and body. Closing with a short guided meditation and a long savasana, a time for quiet and integration. This practice is accessible to yogi’s of all levels, especially beginners.

WEDNESDAY

5:30-6:30pm: Find Your Flow with Kari*

“Finding Your Flow”, refers to your connection with the present moment.  This moment is all there is, and yoga teaches us how to reconnect ourselves to it . Flowing through sun salutations, while connecting our breath to our movement, brings us right here to this eternal moment.  We learn that engaging in flow can happen anywhere in our lives where we truly engage in living.  Vinyasa Yoga is flowing from one pose to the next, moving breath and body in unison.  When the breath and body are aligned, the mind is fine!  We give ourselves mental freedom when we find our flow.  This class is intermediate, but everyone is welcome.

7:00-8:15pm: Yin with Reiki and Sound Bath with Angie

This practice is a more meditative approach to yoga. It combines long, but supported yoga stretches that teach us how to sit and breathe through life’s challenges. All postures are done on the floor with props to support them.  Each pose is held for several minutes, stretching the connective tissue in the joints. During the class, the teacher will move from person to person offering Reiki. (You can always opt out of the reiki portion if you do not want to be touched) Expect a long savasana or yoga nidra with sound healing.  Sound healing is a vibrational clearing through the harmonics of singing bowls, a gong, and other instruments.  This is a restorative release for mind, body, and soul!

THURSDAY

5:30-6:30pm: Power Flow Yoga with Lisa (Starts June 22nd)

Power Yoga is a dynamic practice that combines Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow, designed to build strength and endurance as well as improve your flexibility and balance. In this class we will learn fun yoga sequences and focus on finding a rhythm between breath and movement, truly bringing our awareness to the present moment. We will end class with a brief cool down stretch sequence and savasana to complete your yoga practice.

SATURDAY

9:00am-10:15am: Saturday Yin Yang Morning Wake up with Lori

We will begin class by finding our edge, dropping into our breath in gently held poses, and stimulating deep connective tissue. As the body opens up we will transition to more dynamic moving poses, marrying our breath with movement. This practice will help balance our mind, body and spirit to start our day.
